INSTRUCTIONS FOR SUBMITTING ENGRAVING INSTRUCTIONS: Submit your engraving instructions as a gift message. After you add the item to your basket, click ‘This will be a gift’ and ‘Proceed to Checkout’. You can then add the engraving instructions in the ‘Gift Message’ box. This gift message information can only be used for engraving details. Avoid including too much engraving information. Check the number of lines available for engraving and also consider the shape of the tag which may affect line length. The more text you request on the tag, the smaller the text will be. Try to abbreviate where possible. Indicate what you would like engraved on each side (if a double sided tag) and separate lines with #. Please double check the details as we cannot be responsible for any errors.

The Control of Dogs Order (1992) mandates that dogs’ ID tags should include the owner’s surname and address (minimum house name/number and postcode). On dog and cat tags we recommend including at least one phone number and, if possible, the word ‘CHIPPED’ or ‘SCAN ME’ if your pet is microchipped.
